Meet Fiona Hamilton

A resident of Leytonstone since 2019, I live in the heart of the Grove Green ward with my partner. I want to see local businesses thrive and believe a strong force of Liberal Democrats on Waltham Forest Council will help ensure a vibrant local community with the good-quality housing and reliable transport our community deserves.

With a decade of experience at Royal Mail, I bring a unique perspective to the table. While I’m based in head office, I also get out and help our local postmen and women to deliver letters and parcels, giving me a real appreciation for the vital role frontline workers play in our community.

I’ve been involved with the Liberal Democrats since 2009 when I worked in the European Parliament in Brussels. I’m a Liberal Democrat because they’re the only pro-European party and I believe the UK is stronger with good relationships with its neighbours. Having lived and worked abroad, it also means I champion diversity and inclusion here in Leytonstone.
