Meet Josh Hadley

My name is Josh Hadley and I will be your Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate in Chingford and Woodford Green at the next election.

I live and work in Waltham Forest with my wife and two kittens. I am an IT consultant specialising in advising local authorities on modernisation and innovation. I have been the Chair of the Waltham Forest Liberal Democrats for the past three years and is committed to the belief that Waltham Forest’s politicians should be doing better for its residents.

I have worked as a consultant to local government for the past fifteen years, which means that I have seen the collapse in public services that has taken place over the past two decades from every angle.

I joined the Liberal Democrats because I felt that neither Labour nor the Tories were willing or able to commit to providing universal access to good quality public services in the UK. In the past two decades we have seen both major parties commit to a degradation of public health, education, and policing. I believe passionately that the role of government is to ensure that the public have access to the services they need to aspire and thrive, and as your candidate in Chingford and Woodford Green, this is the agenda I'll be looking to advance.

On a diverse array of issues - from the collapse in the quality of London's police force to the ongoing conflict in Gaza - both the Tories and Labour have demonstrated that they lack the vision required to represent their constituents.

I am running because I am committed to working hard to address the issues that matter most to our area. Your involvement is key to driving positive change, and I hope that you will follow along with my campaign and the work that I am doing in the local area.
